All Valley Center-Pauma schools are closed today, January 8th, due to power outages and high winds. There will be no school for students. We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates as needed.

The School Site Council is a committee of parents/guardians, and staff members that advise the principal or designee on the school site plan, safety plan, and the district education plans among other topics. Please consider serving our school by putting your name in for School Site Council.
The candidates will be voted on by families from September 18th -22nd. A minimum of 6 meetings a year will be held and we will agree on the best time based on the committee members. Nominations close on Friday September 15, 2023 at 3pm.

El Consejo Escolar es un comité de padres/tutores y miembros del personal que asesoran al director o persona designada sobre el plan del sitio escolar, el plan de seguridad y los planes educativos del distrito, entre otros temas. Important note: The school start and end times have changed. They are now 8:10 AM-2:15 PM for all grades TK-5. Early Release Days & Minimum Days have a start time of 8:10 AM and an end time of 12:35 PM. Drop off and pick up locations remain the same. We understand the pick up after school may take longer than normal due to increased traffic and we will have supervision until all parents/guardians arrive. Please show patience with traffic before and after school. Consider carpooling and using our bus system. Your kindness is appreciated.
On behalf of the entire Lilac School Staff I would like to welcome you to the start of the 2023-24 school year. Our first day of school is Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023. We are excited to have students back on campus and learning again. Lilac School has amazing teachers and staff to not only help students grow academically and physically, but socially and emotionally as well.
